OUR SERVICES
PLEASE NOTE: Health and Wellness Services are paid for by the Annual Fee, whereas any Medically-Necessary Care is billed to OHIP, as per current healthcare legislation. Our clinic was reviewed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care after a concern was submitted by a local Healthcare organization in 2007. The Ministry determined that Health for Life Medical Centre is not in contravention of the Commitment to the Future of Medicare Act (CFMA).
HEALTH ASSESSMENTS, RECOMMENDATIONS AND COACHING
We provide comprehensive evidence-informed preventative and lifestyle health and medical assessments with recommendations / follow-up for our clients (including both Health and Wellness Services, and Medically-Necessary Components). These services are provided by our caring and talented multidisciplinary team (physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, nursing assistant, fitness trainer). We have two streams for our services – Regular and Modified/Geriatric (determination of eligibility for the specific stream is at the recommendation/discretion of our Medical Director).

NATUROPATHICA®
We are pleased to offer Naturopathica® bath and body products to our clients at special pricing. Naturopathica® products are high quality, naturally-based products that fit with the 6th Pillar of health – avoidance of toxins.

PHARMACOGENETIC TESTING
We are pleased to have recently introduced Pharmacogenetic (PGx) Testing for our clients. We know that there are times when medications are needed for optimal health, and at these times, we want to be sure we are making the best choice for each individual person based on their genetics and metabolism. You may have heard of this as applied to “Personalized Medicine.”
We have partnered with Inagene™ to offer their PGx testing for our clients who are interested in this extra service.
PLEASE NOTE: We currently have a waiting list for our services, and due to the intensive nature of our program, can only admit a couple of new clients each month. Potential new clients should contact the clinic to enquire about being added to the waiting list.
